The study course “Master of Education in Secondary School Teaching, Complementary Subject Mathematics’’ is offered at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. Here, students acquire in-depth scientific knowledge and methodological skills in mathematics. The degree content is slightly different than the one of the regular Master’s program by featuring modules such as Stochastics, Geometry, Algebra and Number Theory, Analysis, and Linear Algebra. Graduates from the teacher training program will be qualified to practice the teacher profession in high schools, community schools and vocational schools.
