“Master of Education in Secondary School Teaching, Major Subject Sports’’ is a degree program offered at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. This is a full-time course of study with a duration of four semesters. By enrolling in this program, students can advance their scientific knowledge and methodological skills in sport science as well as in subject didactics. As with the Bachelor’s degree, here participants can choose to combine the sub-course in sports with other subject like Biology, Chemistry, Philosophy/Ethics, Geography, and others. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates can practice the sports teacher profession in high schools, community schools as well as vocational schools.
