The seven-semester study course “Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering” at the Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences comprises the three main areas of structural engineering, hydraulic engineering and transport. It trains students to work on residential, bridges, cultural and industrial buildings, and the construction and maintenance of waterways and infrastructure. The curriculum includes Construction mechanics, Building material technology, Hydromechanics, Building informatics and more subjects. In the fifth semester, students have the opportunity to go on a semester abroad and put what they have learned into practice. Graduates can continue their education with a master’s degree.
