With a standard period of study of seven semesters in total, the program “Bachelor of Engineering in Food and Packaging Technology” is offered by Kempten University of Applied Sciences. The course imparts combination of knowledge of classic mechanical engineering and competencies from the food industry and packaging technology along with comprehension in process engineering. During their study, the prospective students explore the basic subjects from the field of natural sciences and engineering and become familiarized with the relevant modules in food and packaging technology. Throughout the third and seven semesters, graduates expand their comprehension in food process engineering with a focus on dairy technology, packaging technology with a focus on plastics and systems engineering in filling and packaging machine construction.
