Agricultural Management teaches students business skills and operating techniques used in the food industry. It gives the necessary education to manage businesses in the agricultural industry. The duties of agricultural managers include planning, supervising and taking part in planting, fertilizing and harvesting the resources. It is an important aspect of the business, as planning, organizing and decision making are key to efficiency in production. Agricultural Management programs include subjects like Agricultural Marketing, Agricultural Business Management, Resource Product Marketing, International Agricultural Trade, Plant and Animal Science, and more. Students become experts in organization, management, sales, innovation in the agriculture sector and enterprise and international business by the end of the course, and gain the professional skills like precision, creative thinking, problem solving and decisiveness, which are needed to be successful in Agricultural Business and Management. Graduates are prepared to pursue a number of careers, for example as farm manager, agricultural broker, sales representative, credit analyst, operations manager or human resources manager.
