The International program “International M.A. Diaconic Management” was developed and introduced by the The Church University of Wuppertal/Bethel and its collaboration with the United Evangelical Mission (UEM) and Wuppertal (Head office). Some of the studying modules within this course are: Theology and Ethics, Business Administration/ Economics and conceptual basis is the New St. Gallen Management model. This program firstly starts in Europe (Protestant University Wuppertal/Bethel, Institute for Diaconic Science and Diaconic Management), and the continues to South Africa, the Philippines, Indonesia, Tanzania, and ends back in Europe. All of the study sections are taught for the period of five weeks and start with a regional field research. The educational process includes three written papers on the three modules, followed by an oral exam. At the end, during the 6th month a Master’s thesis should be provide to defence the qualification. The entry requirements include degree in the sphere of Theology, Economics, Medicine, Social Science, etc. or three years’ experience in leadership.
