KLU, abbreviated for the Kühne Logistics University, Hamburg, is the provider of the English-language degree program “Bachelor of Science in Business Administration: International Management”, which can be completed in two modes – intensive, for six semesters and 210 ECTS, a semester abroad and two internships, and a standard one – in the same period, for 180 ECTS, plus a semester abroad and one internship. The curriculum for both encompasses fundamentals of Accounting, Management and Strategy, Logistics and Supply Chain and Mathematics for Economics in the first semester, and further specific business subjects like Management Information Systems, Programming, Languages, to choose among Chinese, Spanish and German, Empirical Research Methods, Consumer Behavior, Corporate Responsibility. The degree ends in a Bachelor thesis in the last semester. Personal skills development is also laid in the curriculum. The curriculum of International Management profile concerns global economy, international export and import, and teaches how to handle issues of intercultural and business communication in the appropriate ethic, strategic and analytical way.
