KLU, abbreviated for the Kühne Logistics University, Hamburg, offers four possible profiles in its “Bachelor of Science in Business Administration” degree, and one of them is “Supply Chain Management”. It is a degree structured into six semesters, but a more intensive option of the curriculum is available, with two internships, instead of one, a semester abroad, and 210 credits, compared to the 180 of the standard one. The language of instruction is English, and the option of choosing another foreign language during the studies, among Chinese, German and Spanish, is given. The initial focus of the degree is an outline of the basics of Business Administration, but, as the degree unfolds, more specific areas are touched upon – Management Information Systems, Programming, Empirical Research Methods, Consumer Behavior, Corporate Responsibility. New technology, data-supported decisions and ethical codes will also be duly approached.
