The “Bachelor of Arts in Applied Linguistics” is a German-taught program with a duration of 6 semesters. Throughout their studies, participants will receive in-depth theoretical and practical training. They’ll focus mainly on German as a foreign, second and educational language, Basic Linguistic Methods, Language Acquisition, Language Psychology, Grammar and Syntactic Analysis, and more. Additionally, students can choose from a plethora of elective modules and diversify their education. The BA is application-oriented and aims to provide participants with hands-on experience, key competencies, and soft skills. Upon completion of the program, graduates are qualified to assume positions mainly in the field of speech therapy. The BA is the foundation for a later Master’s degree.
