Description
The “Master of Arts in Atlantic Studies / History, Culture, and Society” is a 4-semester long program conducted in German and English. It is designed for applicants with a corresponding Bachelor’s degree who wish to expand their professional horizons. The curriculum includes multifaceted courses with a focus on the South Atlantic and its historical, sociological, cultural, linguistic, and literary aspects. Additionally, students can diversify their education by taking up elective modules. The MA is research-oriented and aims to provide participants with the social, methodological, and analytical skills needed to successfully conduct scientific work on their own. Upon completion of the program, graduates are qualified to assume positions in cultural and educational institutions, media, journalism, policy advice, and more.
