Description

The “Bachelor of Arts in English Studies” is a 6-semester long program conducted in English and German. The curriculum consists of interdisciplinary courses in American Literature and Cultural Studies, Applied Linguistics, Cognitive Linguistics, Media, Language and Literature Didactics, Variational Linguistics, and much more. Additionally, students can choose from a plethora of elective modules and diversify their education. Through various case studies and group projects, they’ll acquire hands-on experience, key competencies, and soft skills. The BA prepares participants for work in educational and cultural institutions, media, publishing, and more. The program is the foundation for a later Master’s degree.
