The “Master of Education in Teacher Training for Technical Education: English” is a 4-semester long program taught in German and English. It is designed for applicants with a relevant Bachelor’s degree who wish to expand their professional horizons. The curriculum includes interdisciplinary courses with a focus on Applied Linguistics, Cognitive Linguistics, Media Didactics, Postcolonial Literature and Cultures, Language and Literature Didactics, Sociolinguistics, etc. Also, students can personalise their education by taking up elective modules. The MEd is application-oriented and aims to provide participants with hands-on experience, key competencies, and soft skills. Upon completion of the program, graduates are qualified to pursue a teaching career on a vocational school level.
