The “Master of Education in Teacher Training for Technical Education: Food Science” is a 4-semester long program taught in German. It is suitable for applicants with a corresponding Bachelor’s degree who wish to further their qualifications. The curriculum includes interdisciplinary courses with a focus on the Technology and Engineering of Food, Diet-Related Diseases, Nutrition Science, Educational Sciences, Didactics, and more. Also, students can personalise their education by taking up elective modules. The MEd is application-oriented and aims to provide participants with hands-on experience and professional core competencies. Upon completion of the program, graduates can become exemplary teachers at vocational schools. They can also opt for a later doctoral degree.
