Description
The “Master of Science in Geosciences” is a German-taught program with a duration of 4 semesters. It is a continuation of the corresponding Bachelor’s degree offered at the Leibniz University Hanover. The curriculum consists of multifaceted courses with a focus on Soil/Water, Sedimentary Systems and Tectonics, Applied Geology and Geophysics, Mineralogy/Geochemistry, etc. Additionally, students can align their education to their interests by taking up elective modules. The MSc is application-oriented and aims to provide participants with hands-on experience, key competencies, and soft skills. Upon completion of the program, graduates are qualified to assume leadership positions in university research institutes, federal and state offices, museums, engineering offices, environmental authorities and laboratories, consulting offices, etc.
