The “Master of Education in Teacher Training for Grammar Schools: History” is a 4-semester long program conducted in German. It is suitable for applicants with a relevant Bachelor’s degree who wish to further their qualifications. Throughout their studies, participants will focus on the History of Africa, the History of Latin America and the Caribbean, Ancient History, Medieval History, Early Modern History, Modern and Contemporary History of Germany and Europe, etc. Additionally, students can personalise their education by taking up elective modules. The MEd is application-oriented and aims to provide participants with practical relevance and professional core competencies. Upon completion of the program, graduates are qualified to assume positions in cultural and educational institutions, media, tourism, political institutions, etc.
