The “Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology” degree can be taken at Leipzig University of Applied Sciences. As the title suggests, the degree will center on the mathematical, physical, electro-technical, and information technology basics, but it will actually give appropriate scientific preparation for a vast array of applications in real life. Graduates can opt for diverse positions in their future career, be it in the energy industry, medical devices, or data operations. From the third semester onward, there are several specializations to choose from: automation technology, electrical power engineering, electronic circuit technology and signal processing, information technology in the automation systems. The bachelor thesis is a practical project, done under the supervision of the proven, reputable academic staff, and in close cooperation with industry, businesses, and federal institutions.
