The “Bachelor of Engineering in Energy, Building Services and Environmental Engineering” degree at Leipzig University of Applied Sciences Hochschule is a six-semester course, and the credits it is equal to are 180. It is also offered as a cooperative study program. The degree represents the study of the technological approaches and scientific know-how available at present for minimizing environmental impact of the energy industry, and, most of all, for dedicating efforts in the search of alternative energy solutions and developments. The aim is the optimal practical gain both for the participants of the course, and the economic sector they will be employed in. Traditional, as well as future-oriented subject areas can be chosen for further academic implication in a specialized way. The last semester is dedicated to the internship and the bachelor thesis, developed in view of maximum practical orientation and application.
