The Leipzig University of Applied Sciences provides the “Master of Engineering in Energy, Building Services and Environmental Engineering” program in a period of four semesters. It is dedicated to the preparation of specialists for the following branches of economy: power plants, energy industry, heating, water, refrigeration, supply, disposal technology, regenerative energy systems, and more. The structure of the studies could be fully customized, since it comprises of individual independent modules, which each student would combine according to their interests. The course also obtains a broader scope of perspectives by adding interdisciplinary elective subjects to the curriculum. The professional realization could also mean having a position in the surging research and investigation sector of this area of knowledge, especially the branch concerning renewable energy sources.
