The Leipzig University of Applied Sciences gives access to the degree program “Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering: Energy Technology”. It continues for six semesters, which are scheduled in the following way – five on compulsory scientific and business administration modules, and one for the preparation of the practice-oriented research thesis, and the practice period. Competences on the interface between exact scientific knowledge and methodology for sound evidence-based problem-solving decisions, and the economic notions needed for applying those in the processes of service provision or manufacturing in the area of energy supply companies, will be given. Specialists graduating the degree will be fully prepared to lead relevant corporate divisions with flexibility and innovative, holistic approach. Sales, sustainability, quality assurance and project management could also be some of their areas of expertise.
