Leipzig University of Applied Sciences offers the “Master of Science in Industrial Engineering: Mechanical and Energy Engineering” program for those interested in specializing Mechanical Engineering and Energy Technology. It is a standard four-semester program, with a semester for the preparation of the Master’s thesis. Production or energy technologies are the two routes of specialization, but they both also commit to qualify students in the managerial and commercial abilities needed for governing a company of that industrial branch. Independenty quality performance in any of the following positions, and more, is the corresponding place for future graduates: key account manager, head of production planning, project manager, plant engineer, head of quality assurance or management, process planner.
