The Leipzig University of Applied Sciences provides the program “Bachelor of Engineering in Information and Communication Technology” in a cooperative mode, through a work contract in a respective cooperation partner company. The degree is seven semesters long, and there are preliminary courses done. Basics of analysis, programming, electrical engineering, physics, simulations, computer science, precede the advanced modules from the third semester on. Practice and a bachelor thesis conclude the studies. Various industries require the support of IT specialists, due to digitalization.
