Description
The “Bachelor of Engineering in Packaging Technology and Sustainability” at Leipzig University of Applied Sciences is focused on the preparation of specialists through a seven-semester curriculum. The technological know-how on the packaging industry goes through notions of mathematics, physics, chemistry, materials, measuring and printing, and optics. Then the degree deepens and specifies the studies to come to the automation in packaging and printing, packaging machines and technology, and the economic science notions of business relevance and relatedness of the technological processes. The degree, being involved in solving contemporary global issues, does not leave matters of sustainability unheeded. Elective modules on more detailed studies of the correlated subjects are possible, and the final two semesters are dedicated to the practice internship and the elaboration of the bachelor thesis. Since packaging is an inseparable part of all industries nowadays, there are numerous prospects for future career.
