The practice-integrated, cooperative program “Bachelor of Engineering in Telecommunication Informatics” at Leipzig University of Applied Sciences provides the necessary training for the high-profile jobs of IT support for the communication operations in companies. The studies include creating cloud services for analysis and processing of data, provision of secure online networks, and design systems. Cooperation with companies gives a chance for real-time testing of the skills acquired during the scientific modules at the university. In seven semesters students learn and practice through lectures, seminars, exercises, and the e-learning platform. Individually selected specialization is embedded in the later stages of the degree. The completed degree will be a step towards national or international positions in companies on the way to digital transformation as Big Data analysts, project managers, cloud architects, test designers, network architects and administrators, among many other.
