The study course “Bachelor of Arts in Animation” at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts has a continuation of six semesters. The goal of the course is to provide students with a solid foundation in animation. The language of instruction is German and English. Students learn to narrate and manage an animation film project, visually design an animation film project and monitor the technological process of an animation film. To apply, students must have a Federally recognized or equivalent academic baccalaureate. Graduates find employment in directing, storytelling, animation in 3D and 2D techniques such as CGI, stop-motion, digital cut-out and traditional hand-drawn animation.
