The program “Master of Arts in Music: Conducting” at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts has a duration of three semesters. The goal of the course is to prepare students to successfully conduct conducting tasks in the field of national and international concerts, operas and wind orchestras. Students deepen and broaden their knowledge and develop artistic, technical and social skills to conduct professional and semi-professional orchestras. To apply, candidates must have a completed bachelor’s degree. Graduates pursue careers in music journalism or writing, editing, publishing, recording, teaching and research, and more.
