The program “Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design” at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts runs over six semesters. The training aims to teach students to design posters, books, magazines, interactive applications such as websites or apps, infographics, fonts, logos and corporate designs. The curriculum includes PROCESS screen printing colour, PICTURE photography, FONT sign, FONT Set INTERACTION Type on-screen, TYPEFACE Type area and other compulsory modules. To apply, students must have a Federally recognized or equivalent high school diploma, plus a one-year preliminary design course. Graduates begin careers in design agencies, freelancing, digital design, web and app design, digital marketing and management and multimedia production.
