The continuing education program “Diploma of Advanced Studies in Instrumental/Vocal Pedagogy Compact” at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts lasts three semesters. The training aims to qualify students for music pedagogical work. The curriculum includes Subject didactics and music didactics, educational Psychology, Ensemble and group lessons, Instrumental pedagogical practice for the classroom, Practical project work including documentation and other disciplines. To apply, candidates must have a musical degree at higher technical school level and minimum five years of professional experience in the educational field. Graduates obtain a Diploma of Advanced Studies in Instrumental/Vocal Pedagogy.
