The program “Master of Arts in Music Pedagogy/School Music II” at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts has a duration of three semesters. The goal of the course is to qualify professionals in teaching music at a higher secondary level. The training is in cooperation with the University of Teacher Education Lucerne. Students acquire solid skills in practical school piano playing, vocal technique and ensemble conducting. To apply, candidates must have a bachelor's degree from a music college. Graduates begin careers as a music teacher, music director, administrator, band director, vocal coach, education manager, mentor, program content planner or recording assistant.
