The program “Master of Arts in Music/Performance Jazz” at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts runs over three semesters. The goal of the course is to show students how to develop their unique musical language. Students acquire broad theoretical and practical knowledge and develop solid skills in ear training and jazz. The course is in partnership with various jazz festivals in Switzerland and other well-known institutions. To submit, applicants must have a bachelor’s degree from a music conservatory or equivalent and have good English skills. Graduates have various career opportunities as jazz performers.
