The study course “Certificate of Advanced Studies in Organ Improvisation/Liturgical Organ Playing” at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts has a duration of one or two semesters. The goal of the course is to expand organists’ knowledge in the area of organ improvisation or liturgical organ playing. Students acquire theoretical and practical knowledge and develop their improvisational skills and artistic expression. To apply, candidates must pass an interview and a skills test. Graduates receive a certificate of Advanced Studies Hochschule Luzern/FHZ in Organ Improvisation/Liturgical Organ Playing.
