The program “Bachelor of Arts in Textile Design” at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts has a length of six semesters. The goal of the course is to train experts in textile surface design. Students develop manual abilities, digital understanding, sustainability, critical research and creative entrepreneurship. To submit, students must present a federally recognized or equivalent high school diploma and one year of prerequisite design coursework. Graduates find employment in production manager, technologist, trend forecaster, fashion buyer, fashion and interior stylist, merchandiser, fashion and outerwear designer and other possibilities.
