Description
The program “Bachelor of Arts in Camera Arts” at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts has a duration of six semesters. The training aims to introduce students to visual storytelling, design and contemporary image practices. The language of instruction is German and English. The curriculum includes the modules of Introduction to imaging techniques, Editorial Photography and Media Design, Visual Narratives, Transmedia Storytelling, and concludes with Bachelor's thesis. To submit, applicants must have a Federally recognized or equivalent high school diploma plus a one-year preliminary design course. Graduates begin careers in visual journalism, editorial photography, media editing, audio-visual production, visual communication, design agencies, urban development and architecture, art practice and social work.
