Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg offers the six-semester, 90 CP "Bachelor of Arts in Art History" program. It aims to teach students to cope with buildings, images and works of art from the early Middle Ages to the present. The syllabus contains compulsory modules, compulsory elective modules, possibly including a final module, general key qualifications, and internship. To apply, candidates must have a recognized higher education entrance qualification and have reading skills at language level B1. Graduates start their careers in museums, art trades, exhibitions, monument preservation, publishing, media institutions, and adult education.
