The "Master of Science in Biodiversity Sciences" study course at the Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg has a duration of four semesters and is taught in English. The international program has a strong research orientation and teaches students to conduct independent scientific research. The syllabus contains the modules design of research studies, statistics in biodiversity sciences, excursions in botany and zoology, research internship, project study and a master's thesis. Candidates must have a B2 level in English as well as a bachelor's degree in biology, ecology, biogeochemistry, or a related field to be eligible to apply.
