The program "Master of Science in Bioinformatics" at the Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg has a continuation of four semesters. The goal of the course is to teach students to be mediators between computer science and mathematics, as well as life sciences. Throughout the training, students learn to understand current questions and problems in the life sciences and to translate them into the world of computer science and mathematics. To apply, prospective students must hold a degree in a bachelor's degree in bioinformatics or biology. Graduates find career prospects in the areas of bioinformatics, computer science and life sciences, and medicine.
