The "Bachelor of Science in Business Mathematics" program at the Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg has a length of six semesters. It is designed to prepare students for a future as a mathematician in business and industry or in the public sector. The syllabus contains compulsory modules in mathematics including internship and final module, compulsory modules in computer science, elective area of business mathematics, economics elective, general key qualifications. Over the training students learn to develop and apply methods for solving practical problems using mathematical methods and considering economic requirements. The admission requirements are a recognized higher education admission qualification and sound knowledge of English.
