The 45/75 CP program "Master of Arts in Ethnology / Social and Cultural Anthropology" at the Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg has a length of four semesters. It aims to equip students with subject-specific and generalizable abilities in the research and analysis of modern societies and cultures. For this program, students must combine two partial courses to get a degree with a total of 120 CP. The curriculum includes an Advanced Course: Theories of Social and Cultural Anthropology, History of ethnology, mediumship and knowledge, Public Anthropology, an elective module and a master's thesis. To apply, prospective students must have a first professional university degree with at least 60 credit points in the field of ethnology or a comparable subject and a B2 level in English.
