The Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg offers a six-semester "Bachelor of Science in Geography" program with 180 LP. Physical-geographical, geo-ecological, economic, and social-geographical methods of recording are taught along with a wide foundation in the natural and human sciences. The curriculum includes the modules of Human Geography, Geoecology I: Fundamentals of Physical Geography and Geoecology, Digital Geography, General Key Qualifications, Sustainable Landscape Development, and Project Studies. To apply, candidates must have a recognized higher education entrance qualification. Graduates find employment in spatial and landscape planning, and the environmental, nature and landscape sectors.
