The study course “Bachelor of Arts in History” with 60 LP at the Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg has a duration of six semesters. The program aims to provide students with fundamental knowledge of the most important sources, problems and methodological approaches from antiquity to modern times. Students must have 180 credit points in total so they must combine it with a 120 LP partial bachelor’s course. The curriculum includes the compulsory modules of Introductory module antiquity, Introductory module premodern, Introductory module Modern, and methods and auxiliary sciences. Admission to the course is a recognized higher education entrance qualification.
