The Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg offers a six-semester "Bachelor of Arts in Italian Studies" program with 90 CP. The bachelor's degree is designed to provide a thorough introduction to the foundations of Italian studies. The syllabus contains modules of the partial course, General Key Qualifications and possibly a bachelor's thesis. Additionally, students have the opportunity to stay abroad by taking an internship. To apply, candidates must present a recognized higher education entrance qualification. Graduates start their careers in culture, politics and economy, publishing and media, educational and cultural institutions and public relations.
