Description
The 45/74 CP "Master of Arts in Jewish Studies" program at the Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg has a duration of four semesters. The course aims to deepen the knowledge acquired from the undergraduate degree both in terms of linguistic skills and in terms of content and topic. Students must combine two partial courses and they write a master's thesis in one of the two sub-courses, which becomes the major subject with 75 CP. To apply, prospective students must have a degree in a Judaism or Middle East-oriented course, prior knowledge of Biblical Hebrew and Modern Hebrew or comparable knowledge must be proven, as well as sound knowledge in English. Graduates start their careers in scientific library work, museums, research institutes, universities, publishing and more opportunities.
