The 60 CP course "Bachelor of Arts in Media and Communication Sciences" at Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg has a duration of six semesters. The program aims to introduce students to the findings of media science research, its methods and their application. Over the training participants acquire broad theoretical knowledge and develop the skills in dealing with and creating different media products. The syllabus contains compulsory modules, an internship module and elective modules. Students must combine two partial courses so that their bachelor’s degree has 120 CP. The admission requirements are a recognized higher education entrance qualification, sound knowledge of English and pre-internship.
