The program “Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences” at the Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg has a length of six semesters. The goal of the course is to impart the fundamentals of natural and social sciences combined with nutritional and food-specific methods. Students study the subjects such as Anatomy and Microscopic Anatomy, Introduction to human nutrition, Economics of the agricultural and food sector, human biology, Mathematics and Biometrics, and biochemistry. To apply, prospective students must have a recognized higher education entrance qualification and good English skills. Graduates start work in the nutrition sector, consumer advice and education, product development, quality assurance and healthcare.
