The Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg offers the four-semester "Master of Science in Nutritional Sciences" program. The purpose of the master’s degree is to prepare scientifically qualified specialists. The curriculum includes compulsory modules such as Biometric and epidemiological methods in nutritional science, Experimental nutrition research, Clinical Chemistry, Toxicology for Nutritionists, and Epidemiology for Nutritional Sciences. To apply, prospective students must present a bachelor’s degree in nutritional sciences or an equivalent degree. Graduates hold professional and managerial positions in research institutions as well as in the practical areas of nutrition, prevention and health promotion.
