The "Bachelor of Science in Physics" program at Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg has a length of six semesters. The goal of the course is to provide a fundamental, broad-based education in experimental and theoretical physics. The curriculum contains the modules such as Mathematical Methods, Experimental Physics A: Mechanics, thermodynamics, electricity and magnetism, oscillations and waves, Analysis, Linear Algebra for Physics, and Computational Physics. To apply, prospective students must have a recognized higher education entrance qualification and sound knowledge of English. Graduates start careers in industrial research, application-related development, planning and testing tasks in industry and administration, consulting and sales, software industry or banking.
