The program "Bachelor of Arts in Polish Studies" at Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg has a length of six semesters. The course's objective is to equip students with the technical and linguistic know-how, skills, and knowledge necessary to interact with exemplary objects of the Polish language, literature, and culture from both the past and present. Students study the modules such as Introduction to Slavic Studies, the cultural history of Poland, Structural and cognitive peculiarities of the morphological categories of Polish, and History of literature from the Middle Ages to the beginning of the 20th century. To apply, candidates must have a recognized higher education entrance qualification.
