Six semesters are required to complete the "Bachelor of Arts in Protestant Theology" program with 90 LP at the Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg. The purpose of the course is to familiarize students with Christianity in the past and present. Students study the subjects of Old Testament, New Testament, Church History, Systematic Theology, Practical Theology and Religious Education, Religious Studies and Intercultural Theology. To apply, prospective students must have a recognized higher education entrance qualification. Graduates are qualified various activities in the cultural, social and church sectors.
