The study course “Bachelor of Arts in Protestant Theology” with 60 LP at the Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg has a duration of six semesters. The program aims to introduce to students the Christian religion and faith in the past and present. Students combine two partial courses for this discipline, giving their bachelor's program a total of 180 credit points. The curriculum includes the compulsory modules such as Theological Propaedeutics, Basic Module Bible Studies: Old and New Testament, Basic module Old Testament and New Testament, geography of Palestine, and church history. Admission to the training is a recognized higher education entrance qualification. Graduates are qualified various activities in the cultural, social and church sectors.
