The 45/75 CP study course "Master of Arts in Protestant Theology" at the Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg has a length of four semesters. The program is intended for students who desire to expand their understanding from the bachelor's course while combining academic theological training with the study of another subject. Participants must combine two partial courses to get a degree with a total of 120 CP and the possible combinations are Arabic Studies / Islamic Studies, German as a Foreign Language, English language and literature, Ethnology / Social and Cultural Anthropology, and Italian Studies. To apply, prospective students must have a degree in the bachelor’s program in Protestant Theology or an equivalent, and knowledge of one of the languages ancient Greek, Hebrew or Latin.
