The 75/80 CP course "Russian" at the Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg has a duration of eight semesters. The program aims to teach students the technical, didactic, and practical requirements for teaching the topic of Russian. They must combine the discipline with German, mathematics or English. The curriculum includes Introduction to Slavic Studies, Cultural History of Russia, Contemporary culture and society – Russia, Russian literary history from the Middle Ages to the beginning of the 20th century and more subjects.
